DOE announces $590 million to increase bioenergy research

Neste and Wizz Air have agreed on the supply of Neste MY Sustainable Aviation Fuel from 2025 onwards. The agreement gives Wizz Air the opportunity to purchase 36,000 tons of Neste-produced SAF per annum over a period of three years.

Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig on Jan. 10 announced the winners of the agency's 2023 Renewable Fuels Marketing Awards. Growmark FS was recognized for its ethanol marketing, while Kwik Trip was recognized for its biodiesel marketing.
The DOE has released the U.S. National Blueprint for Transportation Decarbonization, which focuses on achieving net-zero emissions in the transportation. The blueprint, in part, discusses the role sustainable fuels can play in reaching that goal.
