Hempel is a supplier of tank linings with resistance to biofuels including ethanol and biodiesel feedstocks such as refined vegetable oils, recycled cooking oils / food industry waste, rendered animal fats. Hempel linings have resistance to the Free Fatty Acids (FFA) in these aggressive cargos, which can also be measured by the Total Acid Number (TAN). Hempel also provide a range of coatings and paint for the other areas of your plant, including protection against Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI), insulative coatings, Passive Fire Protection (PFP) and atmospheric structural steel including tank and vessel externals, piping and general steelwork.
