PBF Energy Inc. on May 2 announced that its St. Bernard Renewables facility operated well during the first quarter of this year, producing an average of 18,000 barrels per day of renewable diesel during the quarter.
The USDA’s Agricultural Research Service, the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, and Nebraska Innovation Campus on May 6 celebrated the groundbreaking of the National Center for Resilient and Regenerative Precision Agriculture.
CVR Energy Inc. on April 30 confirmed that the feedstock pretreatment unit at the Wynnewood biorefinery in Oklahoma has begun operations. The company also continues to evaluate the development of two proposed SAF projects.
Marathon Petroleum Co. on April 30 confirmed the Martinez Renewable Fuels biorefinery in California is currently operating at 50% capacity, but said the facility is expected to ramp up to 100% capacity by the end of the year.
Phillips 66 on April 26 announced its Rodeo biorefinery in San Francisco is expected to be producing 50,000 barrels per day of renewable fuels by the end of Q2. The facility is scheduled to have the capability to produce SAF components by Q3.
