China Clean Energy sees strong second quarter

China Clean Energy Inc., a leading producer of biodiesel and specialty products headquartered in Fujian, China, saw its biodiesel sales rise 68 percent for its second quarter ending June 30 to 2,745 tons (approximately 825,000 gallons). Other notable highlights in its quarterly report include a record $5.3 million in total revenue, up 61 percent from the same time last year, while net income rose to $793,110, a 60 percent increase compared with the company's second quarter in fiscal year 2006.
