In an effort to reduce its carbon footprint, television network Fox Sports announced its committment to using B20 to power its broadcasts of the World Series, Super Bowl, the Bowl Championship Series and other major sporting events. The transition to biodiesel was spurred by the “Cool Change Initiative” introduced by News Corp., the parent company of Fox Sports, according to Fox Sports Director of Field Operations Michael Davies. Fox Sports used B20 to power its broadcast equipment during the Major League Baseball All-Star Game in San Francisco in July.
