The U.S. exported 30,040.8 metric tons of biodiesel and biodiesel blends of B30 or greater in February, according to data released by the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service on April 4. Biodiesel imports were at 180,488 metric tons for the month.The 30,040.8 metric tons of biodiesel exported in February was up when compared to both the 17,217.2 metric tons exported in January and the 18,576.8 metric tons exported in February of last year.&nbsp;The U.S. exported biodiesel to approximately nine countries in February. Canada was the top destination for U.S. biodiesel exports at 25,813.5 metric tons, followed by Peru at 3,805.9 metric tons and Germany at 268.8 metric tons.&nbsp;The value of U.S. biodiesel exports reached $42.51 million in February, up from $24.45 million the previous month and $32.31 million in February 2023.&nbsp;Total biodiesel exports for the first two months of the year reached 47,258 metric tons at a value of $66.96 million, compared to 31,484.9 metric tons exported during the same period of last year at a value of $55.13 million.&nbsp;The U.S. imported 180,488 metric tons of biodiesel and biodiesel blends of B30 or greater in February, up from both 167,713.7 metric tons in January and 123,302.2 metric tons in February of last year.&nbsp;The U.S. imported biodiesel from approximately six countries in February. Germany was the top supplier of biodiesel to the U.S. at 68,327.3 metric tons, followed by Spain at 55,958.5 metric tons and Canada at 36,130.3 metric tons.&nbsp;The value of U.S. biodiesel imports reached $245.29 million in February, up from both $243.91 million in January and $225.7 million in February 2023.Total biodiesel imports for the first two months of 2024 reached 348,201.7 metric tons at a value of $489.19 million, compared to 256,338.9 metric tons imported during the same period of last year at a value of $480.63 million.&nbsp;Additional data is available on the USDA FAS&nbsp;<a href="https://apps.fas.usda.gov/Gats/default.aspx">website</a>.&nbsp;&nbsp;
